French Quench

If you're a good chef (or just want to be), you might be inspired by Dorie Greenspan. She is the talent behind the book Around My French Table: More Than 300 Recipes From My Home to Yours (number 14 on the New York Times bestseller list), and she's appearing just up the road.

You can meet her - and sample some of her fare - at the Darien Library on November 18th at 7pm. You can hear her say a few words about her book and get an autograph too. The folks behind Barrett Bookstore are making the event possible.
