Ok, so Streets of Stamford beat me to it, but it's sufficiently nifty to justify a double shout out.
PAWS of Norwalk is hosting a fundraiser at the Melting Pot in Darien. If you're a regular reader, you'll have read about PAWS quite a few times before - they are devoted care and homes for cats and dogs.
Given the Advocate article from Angela Carella on the wild cats in Stamford, supporting PAWS now is more appropriate than ever.
So join them on Thursday, March 25 from 5-10pm for some good deeds served with melted cheese.
Ten dollars of your prix fixe menu, including an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert, will be donated to PAWS. The menu, for a set price of $45/person, is available for your viewing and pre-ordering pleasure here. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but the menu includes the words "Flaming Turtle."
Make reservations by calling (203) 656-4774 or by visiting the Melting Pot website.
